Located on the opposite side of the Chao Phraya River, just across from the Oriental Hotel, the Peninsula is one of Bangkok's most luxurious hotels. The modern 36-storey high-rise building is combining an ultra modern exterior with a classic colonial style interior. All 370 rooms and suites have commanding views of the river and the impressive skyline of Bangkok. The rooms are furnished in Thai silk and feature marble bathrooms, bedroom & sitting area and a teak foyer. Superior Rooms are on the lower floors and Deluxe rooms on the upper floors. Our recommendation is the Balcony rooms that offer panoramic views over the Chao Phraya River.
The Peninsula boasts some fabulous restaurants that feature Pacific Rim, Cantonese or Thai cuisine as well as all-day dining in various settings.
