This tour visits two of the most famous mansions to be found in Bangkok , an introduction to Thai art and architecture.

The world's largest building of golden teakwood, the “ Vimanmek Mansion ”, is located in the gardened estate of Dusit Park , not far from the Grand Palace . The 3-storey former royal mansion contains a large number of royal memorabilia and art objects. Afterwards vi sit nearby “Wat Benchamabopitr”, or Marble Temple , one of the finest and most elegant temples of the city that has been built with finest Carrara marble. You will finish the tour at the authentic Thai-style house once owned by Jim Thompson. The famous American and former CIA agent revived the Thai silk industry after WW II, before disappearing mysteriously in the Malaysian jungle. The traditional house today is home to one of the most tasteful collection of Thai Art.
